BOOKING TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Please read the following terms and conditions carefully before completing. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
1. To confirm your booking and to ensure we have the relevant information for your event please complete and return your booking form as soon as possible, accompanied by agreed deposit
2. The remaining course costs will be paid 6 weeks prior to the event upon invoice.
3. In the unfortunate event of a cancellation you must inform us as soon as possible and confirm by mail, fax or email. If cancellation occurs:
a. 7 days or less before the event the full course cost will be retained.
b. Between 7 days and 6 weeks before the event the deposit plus 50% of balance will be retained.
c. 6 weeks or more before the event deposit will be retained.
4. Rannoch Adventure reserves the right to adjust or cancel arrangements/activities, as may be necessary to accommodate client’s interests. In the event of alternative accommodation having to be provided, accommodation of a similar standard will be offered. In the event of a cancellation by Rannoch Adventure a full refund of monies shall be given.
5. Rannoch Adventure reserves the right to alter prices in the event of the following:
a. Unforeseen changes in cost of labour and essential commodities
b. Any variation in the rate of VAT or similar tax
c. Any new taxes other than or replacing VAT
d. If agreed accommodation numbers are not reached, cost as quoted will apply unless otherwise agreed
e. If your reserved participant numbers do not attend the event total course cost will still apply
f. Extra participants may be added subject to availability and additional costs
6. As a service to our clients Rannoch Adventure will arrange personal accident insurance for each attendee for the duration of the course booking.
7. Rannoch Adventure and its staff are fully insured against negligence and third party risks.
8. Rannoch Adventure can only be responsible for group members when they are involved with activities.
9. All individuals/supervisors must declare any medical conditions that may affect their own or the safety of others. Please supply any relevant medical details before activities commence.
10. Rannoch Adventure reserves the right to cancel or stop a course or session if:
a. Any of the above listed conditions are not met
b. If any of the information given by the group is incorrect
c. If any incident occurs due to the actions of the group which may affect the safety of the participant/s
11. All activity equipment is provided except personal items (personal items include waterproof clothing, walking boots, rucksacks etc)
12. Rannoch Adventure cannot accept any responsibility for the act of omissions, whether negligent or otherwise, of other persons providing arrangements for the group unless that person is employed directly by Rannoch Adventure.
13. Rannoch Adventure does not accept liability for any loss, inconvenience or damage caused by war, threat of war, riot or civil strife, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural disasters, fires, sickness, weather conditions, transport, airport regulations, temporary technical, mechanical breakdown, explosion of nuclear plant thereof or radioactivity/contamination arising from such plant, postal losses, or disputes or events out of our control.
14. These conditions shall be construed and interpreted in accordance with the law of Scotland and the parties each submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish Courts.
